Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

AllCare Primary & Immediate Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional primary care services to a predominantly adult patient population
  • Conduct routine physical exams, including Pap smears
  • Diagnose and treat common medical conditions
  • Counsel patients on strategies to promote general wellness
  • Manage urgent complaints that would be seen in a typical primary care clinic
  • Collaborate well with an interdisciplinary care team to drive quality outcomes
  • Review all labs and clinical documents in a timely manner
  • Complete charting in the electronic medical record within 72 hours of the encounter
  • Comfort seeing approximately 2-2.2 patients per hour on average, including walk-ins
  • Maintain high standard of professionalism when interacting with patients and staff

Working Hours:

  • 3 weekdays per week (Monday through Friday): 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

AND

  • Every other weekend: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Requirements:

  • Valid and unrestricted Medical License in the District of Columbia (DC)
  • Board Certification, if applicable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong dedication to providing compassionate patient care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
